Public Display of the Preferred Option will commence on 22nd November 2021 at 3pm.

Clare County Council has carried out an Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening Report and has determined that a full Appropriate Assessment is not required in respect of the proposed N19 Shannon Airport Access Road Improvement Scheme Ground Investigations. A copy of the Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening Report is available for download here.

Introduction Clare County Council, in partnership with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), is developing the planning and design for the N19 Shannon Airport Access Road Improvement Scheme.

Introduction Phase Two (Options Selection) of the N19 Shannon Airport Access Road Improvement Scheme is currently ongoing. A Constraints Study area has been identified for the scheme and a study has been completed to identify the nature and extent of natural and artificial constraints.
